Iguazu Falls
Water
Hundreds of waterfalls side by side in the jungle.
At Iguazu a river drops over a cliff almost three kilometres wide, on the border of Argentina and Brazil. Depending on how much water there is, you can count about 275 separate falls.
The largest is called the Devil's Throat: a horseshoe of water about 80 metres high. Walkways lead right up to the edge, and the spray soaks everyone who comes close.
